Fincher says that creating the Mama says...® Nativity Collection may just be the most fun she had in creating a new product line. From rounding up kids, costumes, and hay bales, to crawling under a camel and donkey to photograph their tummies, this creation was an adventure!​

           In the past few years, Fincher's church's members built and participated in a drive-through village scene of Bethlehem.  Kathy recorded the event and included memories of her own daughters  to capture and create each figure.

         The Mama says line reflects popular "mama says" sayings of attributes that mothers wish to instill. These are supported by scripture references.

​        Most of the models for the Nativity are Fincher's neighbor's grandchildren,  making most of the characters  siblings or first cousins.​

       

This is a beautiful way to share the story of the Nativity, the scriptures, and a life application for families.
